| 2006-08-10 | Great Place. | Along with the Milpitas Golfland, the Sunnyvale Golfland is very active and successful compared to the other 2 in the south-bay area (the Cambell and San Jose ones).
It doesn't have much classics, but it does have 2 of those arcade emulators featuring about 60 games.. starting with 1942 and ending with Street Fighter 2.
Games I can think of include: IntD: 3rd Stage (4 cabinets, linked 2vs2), Maximum Tune 2 (2 cabinets linked), Need for Speed (that new one), Rush 2049, Time Crisis 4, Silent Scope, Sega's Ghost Squad, SVC: Choas, Capcom Fighter's Jam, Soul Calibur 2?3?, Tekken 5, Tekken Tag Tournament, Capcom vs Snk 2, 2 or 3 Street Fighter (of the hard core variety.. Alpha 3 era, that I hate because of the difficulty), King of Fighters (99?), 2 DDR's.., Beatmania 2 DX 11th Style, Guitar Freaks, DrumMania, Super Puzzle Fighter 2, Tetris, Jurassic Park (2?) in-cab-shooter, etc..
*Note, although Sunnyvale has a nice golf-course it does not feature the water-slides of Milpitas.. or the street-racers' gatherings out in the parking lot. |
