2005-06-25Rich DThis was my first time at Dave & Busters. I played the Donkey Kong/Donkey Kong Jr/Mario Bros game. Gameplay w/ the joystick is excellent. Only problem w/ playing these games is that you can't see your score on the display. The Millipede game that I played is set for bonus every 20000 points instead of the 15000 that I'm used to. I can't complain. Definitely plan on coming back.
2005-06-23ABRDonkey Kong is at the entrance to the midway. All other classics are in the back corner.
2004-06-11Jim of Reston, VASome of the games on the Ultracade include: Black Tiger, 1942, Robotron, Joust, Defender, Star Gate (Defender II), Gun Smoke, Vulgus, Street Fighter, and a few others I don't recall.
2004-06-11Jim of Reston, VAConcerning ABR's comment of 12/04/03 -- the game he is talking about is Galaxian 3 -- a HUGE theatre game (the game is actually a theatre where 4 people can play at once). Nothing like the classic Galaxian game.
2004-06-11Jim of Reston, VAThe Ultracade machine also has Asteroids on it. Interesting, the marquee on the machine is for Williams Multi-Game (Robotron, Defender, etc.). However, the game definately has more than just Williams games on it. For what it is worth, the Robotron is hard to play in that the controls are way wider apart then the actual game and the diagonal movement on the left joystick is a bit hinky. Makes for a frustrating game.
2003-12-04ABRMy previous post was about the Ms. Pacman/Galaga Machine. This one is for the Ultracade. The Ultracade is located right by the Ms. Pac Man/Galaga Machine (very back of the arcade by Galaxian). The price for the Ultracade was 3.7 points for normal Power Card holders and 3.3 points for Gold Card Holders. Unfortunatley, the only game I can say it has is Klax (it's the only one I played, but there are loads more on that machine) but be sure and check it out. This is the only Ultracade I've seen in the Washington DC area! Note: To avoid any confusion, the Galaxian game I mentioned above is not the classic version.
