2004-01-28 | Chris F. | Went there today-- same games as in the listing. Asteroids, Centipede, and Space Invaders Deluxe are fairly unplayable, for various display and control reasons. Krull and Time Pilot have dying monitors (Krull's was especially bad), but are still playable. Ms. Pac-Man and Pole Position I didn't bother playing, but their monitors didn't look so hot either. |
2003-06-30 | Randy | This is an update to the Fun World listing in Brookfield, WI. Some posts back in 2002 questioned whether it is still in business - it is. It is located behind the Tony Roma's
restaurant on Bluemound Road.
I was there today and they have the following games. All are the upright models: Ms. PacMan, Centipede, Asteroids, Pole Position, Space Invaders Deluxe, Time Pilot, Krull.
They no longer have Tempest, Crystal Castles or Time Soldiers.
The place isn't the cleanest and the games are not super well cared for, but most are playable.

2002-06-08 | Richard M. | I wonder if the telephone number - 262/789-5370 - is still good. If so the person working there could give the correct directions. Both questdex (the mapping feature used by this site) and mapquest give the same apparently incorrect address. But from www.mapquest.com you can get two reviews of Fun World (one gave it 0/5 stars, the other 3/5). The more recent (and nasty) review was dated 8/29/2001; perhaps the arcade moved since then. |
2002-06-05 | Tony P | Mapquest will NOT give you the correct place on the map! To find it's location, search instead on "Tony Roma's", which is next to it and maps correctly supposedly. Look for a big ferris wheel. |
2002-05-28 | Tony P | I could not find this place at that address. Maybe it is gone already. |
